March 26:
Indoor Training Update:
  • There is a switch of dates at the field house. The April 17th date is cancelled and has been replaced by April 3rd at the same time.
  • All new players are requested to attend the evaluation night at the field house on Monday, April 7th at 7:00 PM.
Feb 19:
     2025 REGISTRATIONS
     2025 registration period is now open.  Please use either the PDF or WORD version of the registration form provided on this page.  Please follow the instructions directly in the form for completing, making payment and returning your registration.  Please also note that only the first 168 paid registrations will be guaranteed spots for 2025.  Registration related questions can be directed to Grant MacKay at 403-548-4099.
Jan 6:
     Indoor training for the 2025 slow pitch season will be held on the following dates:
  • March 13th, 18th, 20th, 25th and 27th

  • April 3rd, 8th, 10th, and 15th

Once again our venue is the Field House at the Stampede Grounds - Field 3. 

The selected days are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 to 4:00

Clean shoes are required. The batting cage will be available. 

The common area can only be used for playing catch and hitting ground balls.

Please note that there are no times scheduled for February as in previous years. 

The cost to the league is $68.25 per hour which includes GST.

One hour times are not available - the minimum time is 1 and 1/2 hours. 

Failure to exit the field by 4:00 PM will result in penalties of $10 per minute. 

Early arrivals are discouraged.


Nov 1:
    2024 Annual General Meeting Monday December 9/24 at 6:30pm at the Medicine Hat Curling Club. 
Please notify all of your team members of the date of the meeting. I would encourage all members, if possible, to attend the meeting. 
The following will be on the agenda: 
  • Review of 2024 season 
  • Financial Report 
  • Vote on Notice of Motion for new score clock 
  • Set 2025 Player Registration Fee

        August 22:
             Below is a league note from Kevin Friesen:

             As per our Association Constitution, the following Notice of Motion will be presented to the general membership to be voted on at the Annual General Meeting in December.
        NOTICE OF MOTION - Curtis Scherger moves, seconded by Jim Black, that the league purchase a new score clock up to a maximum of $15,000.
        All active members in attendance at the 2024 AGM will have an opportunity to vote on the Motion.

        For all team representatives, coaches, and players the automatic external defibrillator is conveniently located in the shed were we park the quad. When you are down at the ballpark take the time to see where it is stored.

        • The Club has put together a "Rules Review Committee" made up of Darrell Bartman(chair) Royce Hopkins and Barry Koch. If you have questions about the present rules, suggestions for rule changes or clearer wording for present rules etc, please take the time to talk to one of these gentlemen. They will bring their recommendations to the Executive Meeting scheduled for October 25th.
